We are looking to visit Cayman Brac in early May but have read they have a noseemum problem. We've had a really bad experience in the US Virgin Islands with noseeums and do not want to repeat it! We are both very allergic to these critters and they seem to love us. I left our last Carribian trip with 150 bites that itched for a few weeks. They were in our house, bit us at night and day, there were at the beach all day and evening. At the time were told it was because of a rainy and cold December.
How bad are noseeums in cayman Brac? Especially in May, the start of the rainy season?
