All accommodations at the beyc are close to the activities. The North Shore rooms are larger, but they are up the hill, and further from the sea. The Beachfront rooms are great if you are not disturbed by the steady tradewinds that blow through all of the time. The tradewinds kept us awake on our first night. After that, we found them peaceful and relaxing. If you reallly want to feel that you are on a Caribbean beach, choose the Beachfront room.

I would definitely vote for the beachfront rooms. Much more character and a more spectacular view. We love the louvered windows and constant breeze. The view from the shower is amazing! The rooms are much more charming than the hillside choices, which are more designed like a traditional hotel room. No A/C in the beachfront rooms, so be sure you're ok with that. You wont' need A/C, particularly in Feb., and you'll be glad to hear the water, birds and breezes as opposed to a condenser all night!
