Weather in February

Hi,

We are travelling Feb vacation to Guavaberry. My daughter is driving me crazy with weather questions. Will it be hot? How about rain. Daily showers?

Thanks,

Melissa

You can check historical weather statistics for Virgin Gorda at:

www.weatherbase.com

www.wunderground.com

The latter site will give you records of actual weather for everyday for the last 10 years.

In a nut shell the weather will be "Tropical" - meaning temps in the mid-80's, mostly sunny, occasional brief showers. Whatever you do, don't check long range weather forecasts shortly before your departure as that will inevitably get you depressed as they will predict rain almost every day (that's those "brief" showers). Pack plenty of sunblock, you'll need it.

Normally, it will be fairly dry in February, with the occaisonal passing shower. Daily temps average in the low 80's during the day and upper 60's to low 70's at night with winds running 10-20mph from the east to northeast. Water temps are usually in the mid to upper 70's.
