I'm sure there will be lots of people from North America in BVI over the holidays! Sandra, the owner/operator of Mongoose Apts in Cane Garden Bay is from Canada. You will have a great time, without a doubt! And the temps will be a lot more favorable than anywhere in Canada or most of the US!

One of the cool things about visiting the BVI is that there are people from everywhere - on our trips, we have met some great folks from UK and South/Central America, to name a couple of places.

Whatever you do - enjoy!

EH!!!!!

We arent from Canada, but we like Canada and we will be in Cane Garden Bay for New Years Eve. Where is a good place to celebrate? We will buy the first round.

Sounds good. Would anyone recomend trying to go over to Foxy's for THE party there? What is the ferry schedule that night?

Foxy's / Great Horbor on New Years Eve is a great time and well worth it. But....beware.....there is a fair amount of chaos, especially as it pertains to ferry schedules. We stood in line in fairly rough conditions (a lot of drunks getting pretty pushy, etc) for several hours while they boarded ferrys. The ferrys headed for the USVI required customer, etc. and the Tortola bound ferrys could not board until that process was complete. Perhaps its all been wroked out now.

Again, it was all well worth it and a great experience I'll never forget. But, you need to go understanding that the crowd is huge and ferry schedule can fall way behind. .
