Restaurant dress codes

My wife and I are leaving for Grand Case on Sunday

We would like to know if the restaurants have any dress codes.

Are shorts for men OK? T shirts?

Thanks in advance for replies.

During the daytime, shorts and t-shirts are usually standard fare but in the evening, not that they would kick you out of some places, proper attire would be appropriate which for men would include dress shorts (typical of Bermuda shorts) or nice jeans/slacks and a nice short sleeve shirt . For women, the same thing or else a light dress (sundress type). These are just examples of what would be respectful. Entering a restaurant with a t-shirt and bathing suit type shorts would most certainly send the wrong message to the waitstaff.

Also, some casinos do not allow sandals to be worn and may have certain dress codes. Especially keep this in mind when entering the Princess Casino. They have the right to evict a person for dress code which is clearly written in the entranceway.

I'm sure someone will come back with the "I've worn this or I've worn that" but as long as you dress respectfully, which is the key word, you should be fine.

It was pretty laid back at some of the nice restaurants in Grand case. I usually wore Jeans and a polo, or sometimes khaki shorts-flip flops and a polo. No one said anything.

Casual dress is the norm....it's the tropics. However, I wouldn't wear a T-shirt for dinner. A collared jersey w/shorts is just fine. Enjoy!!

Just back from Grand Case

I Wore cargo shorts to various restaurants and had no issues. I did wear a collared shirt each night. My wife wore dresses and pants and was we were welcomed everywhere. Jsut remember to bring bug spray!

And if you forget your bug spray, please ask your server. They all keep some behind the bar!

I have sparkly flip flops to go with my evening attire of a sundress!

Bill may wear a clean t shirt for a casual happy hour, but always a nice shirt to dinner.
