Villa or AI resort?

We plan on going on 3/20/10. We really like the AI.what would you recommend? Are there villas where we could rent with everything included as well? Or one of the resorts? We have not made any reservations yet. thanks.

You might inquire of Sandy Molloy of Molloy Travel regarding the villa rentals and for that matter the AI hotel situation too.

I recommend not going with an AI plan. If you do AI then you have to eat at the restaurants affiliated with the hotel. SXM has so many great restaurants on the island that you can eat at a different one every night and still would not have made a dent in the list of great restaurants. Of course this would also mean that you need to rent a car, which again I recommend since this will let you visit some great beaches.

I agree with he previous person. Don't go AI on sxm. This isn't cuba or the DR. Sxm is like being in Europe. Half the fun is choosing where to dine

and we've never gone wrong anywhere. You can find for all budgets. SXM isn't the type of destination where you stay in your resort for 7 days. You are always out and it's very safe. Enjoy Europe in the carribean.
