Hello, I'm traveling with my husband and one year old baby. We are thinking of staying in Cupecoy in the Shore Pointe villas. Has anyone stayed in one of these? Do you recommend it with a baby? We liked it cause its in front of the beach and supposedly walking distance to restaurants and grocery. Any insight on this area would be helpful.

Do you recommend any other areas. Its our first time traveling to St. Martin and really wanted to stay in a nice modern villa close to the beach or ocean.

I have not stayed in one, but live just up the road and friends who have been there say the villas are lovely. High end villas. From the outside I can tell it's well secured and well maintained. I'm sure it will meet your needs. We love the area which we find to be a quiet refuge from the hustle and bustle the island can be.

Porto Cupecoy is just across the road. It has an ATM, small grocery store with decent prices, several restaurants (most high end), and a few shops. About a half (??) mile up a small hill and down the other side it the Atlantis Casino complex, with a casino and several restaurants.

I should point out that the beach directly in front of the villas is clothing optional. It also comes and goes.
