yes, it is still the tail end of rainy season and you can expect some rain, sometimes a full day of rain, but not often. Hard to predict what any given time will be - but usually, there is still plenty of sun, it is medium humidity, and there are times of rain, mostly showers, but occasionally a day of rain. It is a great time to visit as the weather is drying up and the prices for hotels, etc. are still very low.

Mostly, you will have plenty of sun to get that tan, enjoy the sights, etc. And if it does rain, it is still a warm rain and the beach and ocean are a lot of fun in the rain.

I am sure you will have a great time!

thanks very much thats very helpful, we have a time share and thinking about using our points to go to the windjammer instead of an all inclusive resort. is food reasonably priced? and drinks?

food is fairly reasonably priced for a resort, you are close to a large tourist area with lots of restaurants and bars, if your unit has a kitchen or kitchennette you can always stock up on drinks and snacks and that helps too. Windjammer also offers an AI package to add on - it is pricey at $150US pp per day, I think, although that can vary. Unless you are a big drinker, not really worth it. A beer would run around $4US, a mixed drink probably around $4 -$6Us give or take. With being able to stock up on snacks and drinks and maybe breakfast or lunch foods, AI at Windjammer doesn't make much sense.

Enjoy your trip!

officially - June through Nov., with Nov. hurricanes being extrememly rare. Also, hurricances are rare in St. Lucia over all, we are normally farily south of the "hurricane belt". Not to say they don't happen - we had one hit on Oct. 30, 2010 after all, however they are rare. As are tropical storms - we may get some heavy rains during the summer, but generally we don't get the brunt of tropical storms or hurricanes.

It' similar to Nov. With perhaps a bit more chance of rain. You both could get more in depth answers to the weather question by doing a quick search on these board for "weather in Nov" or "weather in Sept."

Otherwise, expect plenty of sun and humidity with some rain and the chance of a solid day or 2 of rain.

Enjoy your visits.
