I'm really excited about the honeymoon I've got planned at the East Winds in October. My only concern is I've heard a few people mention that there aren't many ATMs to be found in St. Lucia.
I typically prefer to travel with very small amounts of cash and make withdraws from ATMs on a daily basis. I know this adds some expense with all of the fees, but to me it is worth the peace of mind. Yet it seems like this might not be the best way to go in St. Lucia.
Can anyone tell me if there are ATMs within walking distance of the East Winds Inn? Will we need to take a taxi every time we want to use one? If not, it means I will have to decide between carrying a lot of cash over from the airport and keeping it in our room or traveling into town each day to get some. Anyone have a better idea?
