HELP---making a connection between St. Martin and St. Barth

On September 8th of this year, I am landing in St. Maartin (SXM) on Jet Blue from San Juan at 3:05 p.m. I have 55 minutes to connect with a St. Barth commuter flight that leaves at 4:00 p.m.

Do I have enough time to make this connection. We carry on our luggage?

Thanks for your help with this! We need to make a decision quickly if this is not possible.

Any ideas?

Should be no problems if your jet blue flight is on time. Don't go through customs. Go through the transit line.

September is very low season so it won't be busy.

Yep....Sepember is right in the heart of hurricane season, so there will be no line-ups at all. You should breeze right through.

Trust that you know that a lot businesses will be closed on St Barts....

As you have just hand luggage then you should have no problems as long as the Jet Blue flight isn't too delayed. You do not have to clear immigration in St Maarten, just report to the SBC transfer desk on the right hand side before passport control.

There are pretty good instructions on the procedure on SBC's website

Thanks so much! That helps us to go for it! We will let you know when our trip is how it worked out since we

didn't want to pay twice as much and wait to fly on Winn Air for their later flight at 5:30.

Has anyone else made this tight of a connection recently? Would love to hear their experience.

Hello,

The connection will be ok if your JetBlue flight is not delayed. I recommend to travel with only carry-on luggage with this tight connection.

Please indicate "carry on only" in the connecting information flight form when you book your tickets. You will have more available time for the check-in.
