Off-shore snorkeling other than Playa Chivas (Blue Beach)?

I give you a new topic, Fpoo et al. Here now, camping on W lounge wifi at the moment. Beautiful island, more later. W by SW off the key opposite Playa Chivas parking # 10 is good, tx for that tip.

Pier (mosquito pier?) all the way out to the very end, around the island off of Esparanza, around the eastern end of Secret Beach. Saw south-east from Green Beach on a map from Curt and Lorrie, looking forward to trying that n November.

tfc I just posted on your other thread.

there is lots of funs snorkeling from shore.

go to secret beach. swim along the left shore and go out towards the open ocean. you should eventually see a disintergrating pipe on the seafloor. follow it out and you should see rocks cropping out of the water further left. head towards them and explore. the snorkeling there is awesome. i have pictures of a manatee that swam up to us there.

silver beach out and along the left.

blue tang reef if you rent kayaks.
