bio bay in electric boat\\\\

Do you think that a person who gets very motion sick will be comfortable on this tour? BioIsland's website says "No" but would like confirmation. Thanks!

As someone who gets motion/sea-sick ... I can say "maybe".

The boats are small, and could be subject to rocking from other people moving / shifting their weight in the boat. I don't get "very motion sick" (to use your description), but someone who is more susceptible than I am may not be comfortable.

which bio bay were you reffering to? the one on Vieques uses a large pontoon boat that is very smooth. people moving on it barely make an impact. plus keep in mind you will be in a protected bay that does not have waves other than the nones made by the boat or kayakers. and thats negligable.

We plan on taking this tour my husband tends to get seasick

he will probably put patch on if weather going to be bad

In a lagoon shouldn't be that bad from a person who doesn't get seasick

Laguna Grande. It's the electric powered boat from Bio Island tour company in Fajardo.

So, that's a "maybe" and an "eeehhhhhhhh" so far . . . .

I appreciate the opinions & experiences!

Oh!.....I have to correct my OP: The operator's website says "No" a participant is not likely to experience motion sickness. I didn't convey this correctly when asking my question here.

I have been on the electric boat trip with Bio Island and I don't think it will be any problem. It is a very short and slow trip. There may be some small wave action during the 4-5 min trip across the marina, and once inside the channel and bay, there are almost no wave motion. But all in all, really nothing to worry about.

As an alternative you can visit the biobay on the walking Cabezas the San Juan tour. They have a boardwalk that extends to the Laguna Grande in Fajardo.
