Hi, my family currently has a reservation at St Regis but I am thinking it might be more of an “adult” location and we should switch to the renassiance? Additionally there is a major cost savings. Any thoughts on one over the other?
These hotels are in entirely different locations.
Condado is an urban beach, like Miami. No car needed. Beach is rough.
Rio Grande is more laid back. You need a car to go anywhere. Beach is calmer.
St Regis is a resort with grounds, good for familirs.
La Concha is a hotel, and it caters to adults.

58 helpful votes Also, St Regis is located almost an hour east of San Juan.
The Intercontinental in Isla Verde is a good place for families if you want a decent beach for kids and to be close to Old San Juan.
