You can buy Lime cell phones, including SIM card and tax for about $20 USD. Then minutes; for example, $500 JMD or under $6 USD. Those minutes can be used locally and internationally. Locally, Lime to Lime it'll probably cost you about 2 cents per minute. Internationally, less than 8 cents per minute. Unless you talk on the phone a lot, it would cost you just a hair over $50 USD for both phones for a week. It would likely cost you a lot more to use your own cell phones from home. This way, you'll have the phones to use again if you go back to Jamaica.

You can purchase Lime phones in Montego Bay, or there is a store above the ValueMaster grocery store at the roundabout in Negril. You'll need to show your passports when purchasing phones.

Or, if you're using a private airport transfer driver, some will loan you cell phones for your stay (you just give a deposit that they'll return to you when you return the phones).
