the laws of jamaica for a wedding

does anyone know what the basic rules or laws are to getting married in jamaica. I have heard so many conflicting things. Some say you have to be there 24hours, some say 48hours, some say you can't get married on sundays or on a national holiday like christmas or new years day. Can anyone clear the record for me?

Should you get married in Jamaica , you may have to wait several weeks before receiving a Marriage Certificate. I had to wait 3 months.
