Off Resort: Nightlife/Culture/Shopping

...I realize when you pay for AI, you're best off taking advantage of it, and we will.

However, we love getting out and experiencing the culture, locals, food, nightlife, etc.

We play to stay at the Iberostar Grand, but what is the town like? We don't mind pushy locals, a little seedineess, etc.....so long as it's not ACTUALLY "dangerous"

There is a community across the street from the hotel name Lilliput. Ive known a lot of people there because Ive lived there every time I went to Jamaica. We met some guesses from the hotel wondered around in the evening there. Very friendly people. You can walk along the paths leading up to the hill where u can get the best view of the hotel and the ocean. The right side of the main road is the direction to Long Bay and Green Wood and Falmouth, Trelawny. The left side is the direction to Rose Hall, Coral Garden, Flanka and MoBay. If u walk about 10 minutes to the direction of Rose Hall you find jerk chicken center serves nice jerk chicken, Don't have to worry as long before 11pm. You can catch taxi cab at the hut cross the street. You will see UVC sign there. J130.00 per person each way. If u want to play pool there is a center called Bug Bunny and a few tiny grocery stores when u can purchase some cold drinks.
