This does not apply to women.

Men can wear dress sandals that are closed-toed.

We have just returned from Jamaica and the dress code is never reinforced at any of the resturants. Women can wear anything as long as its not beach wear and men are suppose to wear closed shoes, dress shorts or long pants and a collored shirt but half of them did not and still ate at the resturants.

Tip for you the minute you arrive make two bookings for Tokyo Joes and The Royle Tai as they are the only two really worth eating in. If you don't like them the first time to you go then you can cancel your second booking but you will love these restruants. Avoid the Italian.
