I live in Chicago so my ? is does Jamaica use the same electricity as we do here in the states? Can I take my own hairdyer and curling iron?

Thanks

Hi Kathy,

Yes you can. There is a slight difference in the amperage but it's basically negligeable.

Blessings and respect to you.

Kathy

Jamaica runs on 110volts, 50Hz.

USA runs 60Hz.

The frequency difference can affect speed (hairdryer) and temperature (curling iron)but they will work.

Hi Steve
