Sunscreen strength in November

I generally don't burn, and have gone tanning few times already to get a base. I was planning on using 30 strength the first couple of days, and then switching to 15 and even 8. Does this sound reasonable? I generally only use a 15 then 8 in Florida when we go in July.

We are going Nov 11 so not sure the strength of the sun then. I want to make sure I have enough of whatever I need so I don't have to pay for it down there. We will be in Puerto Plata.

Hi Sunlover

I just returned from Punta Cana + 32 degrees and I used spf15 I am blonde and very fair I usually burn but this time I did not I just applied the suntan lotion more often and actually came home with a tan not a burn. I did however come home with a lot of bug bites. My husband didn't get any I think they must just like my sweet blood?.... LOL

Anyways I hope you have a great time in the Sun!
