Bahia principe resorts a la cartes

Is there anywhere I can look at the menus for the a la cartes so we can see which ones take our fancy before sending in our requests. Any help would be appreciated x

I find the a la cartes at this resort very confusing, is there really a need to book in advance if visiting early June, I was under the impression this was low season and the resort would'nt be booked to capacity.BTW I'm staying in the Bavaro.

You'll find some menu items here. As a guest of the Bavaro section, you can also use Santa Fe, El Pescador and Garden Grill from the Punta Cana side.

I was wondering the same as Brian about booking. We are going the first 2 weeks of November (which is also low season). Do we really need to pre-book our a la cartes beforehand or would we probably be ok sorting this out once we are there?

Early November is a quieter season. It's just before the holiday period starts.

You do not have to book them before you leave. It really only exists amongst the TripAdvisor community. With that said, the spaces do fill up fast and often once you arrive, the restaurant that you want might be full. It also saves you the time having to sit with a staff member upon arrival and search for different spots to book your a la cartes each night.

You can also always book in advance and change it on arrival if need be.

Long story short: no you don't have to. It does reduce the chance of disappointment. But many guests do book upon arrival too.

Poster "ryguy" has answered your question very nicely as far as it being a requrement to prebook your a la cartes prior to your arrival.

It is a feature that is available to all guests of each of the 5 different Bahia resorts in Punta Cana, to be able to "request" their a la cartes no sooner than 7-10 days prior to their arrival, but as stated, it is optional - at one time this feature was only available to the guests of the Luxury Bahia Ambar and Luxury Bahia Esmeralda - due to it's popularity, it was expanded to all of the Bahia resorts.

Ah thanks for the advice. The only one which we are really bothered about trying (and would be disappointed if we didn't get to try) would be Don Pablo, so I will book this one in advance and then decide on the others once we are there.

As your in the Bavaro section your entitled to 3 ala cartes per week. Ala Cartes and Buffet is open from 6:30 to 10:30pm.

Ala cartes available are:

The IL Capriccio

The Maiko - japanese if you are in the Bavaro resort or

The Mikado - Japanese if you are booked into the Punta Cana resort

Sante Fe - Tex Mex

El Pescador - Mediterranean
