Luggage question

One more question before we head out Saturday. I know the rules about carry ons, but not so sure about checked bags, as we have never checked bags before. Are we allowed to take regular sized bottles of lotions, make up, etc., say 7 - 8 - 10 ounce bottles in our checked bags? Thanks

We always pack anything liquid in zip lock bags so no mess in the suitcase. Have been doing this for years...when we get to the resort, we always pack our sunscreen, etc. in our beach bag in some ziplocks as well.
