What's the best all-inclusive in Punta Cana

My husband and I have gone to Cancun 2xs, Isla Mujeres 1x, and Bahamas 1x. We really enjoy calm vacations: beautiful beaches, great service, and great food. We need a great place to stay with a great beach. We decided to try DR because we've heard really good things. Please help us out. *All-inclusive only please.

Your description of what you are searching for matches the Royal Suites Turquesa. Book one of their beautiful swim up suites and be prepared for luxury and pampering,

I would recommend looking into the Iberostar Grand Bavaro - We're going to stay there in Nov (if you're looking for quality, luxury, adults only, relaxing enviornment this may be a good option). The resort is only 30 min from the airport, I've heard/read reviews that specify that the resort has a great beach, great customer service, and good food. The resort is AI and includes 24 room service, top shelf alcohol, all a la cartes etc. You also have access to the other Iberostar resorts if you want to go to the disco and casino etc.

Bigjim - That's what I've heard; I'm so excited!...I've been to quite a few places in the Caribbean, but this will be my first trip to PC - I can't wait!

Jmb21980 it might be your first trip to PUJ but it will not be your last that's for sure. You will catch what people like to call "The Dominican Bug"

Which basically sums it up to upon returning home, a few months later you will be niking to go back

Bigjim - Yah! I've learned a lot about PC from this form, reviews & FAQ's & I think I'm going to have a blast; now I'm just hoping Stan (my better half) will like it - He wasn't as excited about PC as I was, but I'm hoping once we get there, he'll be pleasantly surprised...

Give it two days with the music playing and you will see Stan start moving to the beat while sitting in the pool bar.

What does the other half like to do? Maybe we can recommend something for him.

Or you can give him a few mamajuana shots also known as Dominican Viagra and by next morning he will be excited for the rest of the trip. LOL

I completely disagree with razed about the Royal Suites Turquesa. I just got back from there and I wouldn't rank it in the top ten, let alone the best.

Iberostar grand bavero or excellance are much much better choices.

Bigjim - Stan is very active (likes to be doing things) & likes to see sights etc...he'll spend a little time at the pool & a little time at the beach, but rest & relaxation is not his goal - he's more of an explorer/adventurous type...I'm thinking of scheduling us on excursions (I know he'll love the a zip lining tour & I'm thinking of "horseplay" a horse back riding tour) but that only gets us thru 2 days out of 7...he also likes a nightlife... (Unfortunately, I'm not really into clubs/discos etc) but I'm hoping to have this vacation be enjoyable for both of us...all suggestions/ideas are welcome :)
