Sunny steve's is a local hangout. Little bar that sits on the corner of avenida espana and calle italia. Grat place to meet up with other TA'ers. There were 6 couples two years ago when we went and we had a great afternoon. We all still keep in touch too. Not to far from the colonial. We travelled from the bahia. Just get a taxi to take you. Its right across the street from the palladium resort entrance. There are plenty of cabs outside to get you back. Definately try to make a meet and greet. When will you be there

Sunny,

It is about a 10-12 minute cab ride - cost is about $15US one way.

When you tell the taxi driver where you wish to go, and he is not aware of Steve's Corner Bar Bar - or just the "Corner Bar" - tell him that it is near the "Mangu Nightclub" - they all know where that is !!

Steve's is an experience you will never forget - a real fun time to be had by all !

Is Steve's Bar busy throughout the day or just at night?

Do they serve alcohol now. We stopped by last year and they stopped selling it and I was told that the owner turned to god which is why he stopped selling it.

Srmlan

A great deal has changed since the time you were at Steve's Corner Bar.

Steve has moved on but the "Corner Bar" is still there, bigger and from what I have seen, better than ever. The new owner is Brian.

The day starts off rather slow, then a slow but steady stream of local residents and guests from the resorts tend to stop by in the afternoon to quench the thirst.

The momentum continues to build with ex pats and even those familiar with Tripadvisor gathering for good company, to greet those they have only met here on Tripadvisor and many to meet the local residents who are so visible here on Tripadvisor and have helped so many of us in so many ways - PC Mike and Mike Fisher.

As the evening approaches and continues on, many more join in on the good chat and fun, the partying and the like - many more local residents and guests

One night per week there is a live band with standing room only.

PC Mike has even informed us that NHL hockey games have made their way to the "Corner Bar" !!

It certainly is a location to remember.... and has come a long way - what is next !!
