Any Help with finding the right resort?

I am sereaching for a couples only small resort perhaps all inclusive. The size of the resort is very important 'cause I am looking for a resort with rooms no more than 300+. A nice beach front is ideal or a short walking distance to a beach/Market place. Any suggestions where I can find this place...I looked to exhaustion.

The only resort that I can think of is Secrets Excellence. There are more than 300 rooms, but it really has that small resort feel. We were just there 2 weeks ago. The resort was near 100% capacity, but it did not feel crowded. You can walk for miles on the beach...very romantic and secluded. There is a market place down the beach...within walking distance.

We stayed at the Riu Taino 2 years ago. There were so many people there (including kids). We enjoyed Secrets much, much more.

I submitted a very detailed review of Secrets to Trip Advisor entitled "Secrets Excellence - We Miss It Already!". It should be posted in a few days.

After you read my review, if you have any questions, send me an email: tomandbrendamiller@msn.com. I will be happy to answer any of your questions.

Brenda :~)

Thanks for the information. I will check out Secrets Excellence again especially on the size of the resort. I don't want to end up at a place like La Cabana in Aruba which had over 800 rooms...Yikes! That resort was very noisey and crowded. Luckly, my BF and I were there just one night. Plus I want a resort with little or no kids running about. My sister and her husband is coming along with us at the same resort. We all plan on going in the winter of 2006 and planning ahead to see which island is best and find the best deal. Basically, we are in our late 20's and looking for a great party time along with some relaxation. So any help with be greatly appreciated. Thanks ;o)
