Define "lots". Anywhere, after there's been a storm, even far out at sea, is going to have some seaweed. Yes, there was some seaweed in the water last week, but it really wasn't bad at all. It wasn't that icky, clinging kind. On the last day, there was a bit more and I thought "OK, this is getting hard to avoid", but the rest of the week was really OK. And the pools are outstanding, so we'd always end up there in the afternoons anyway.

Bad things: dim light in the room (I brought my own lightbulb and switched it out and it was much better), harsh toilet paper (I might consider bringing my own next time), no cream cheese for the fabulous smoked salmon at breakfast every morning. We made do on that one, though, smoked salmon every day. Yum. No Monday Night Football, which I'm guessing won't matter much to you.

None of these things would be vacation-killers in my mind. It's a beautiful resort, food is good, booze is good (make sure you request the top-shelf stuff or they'll give you cheap), pools are awesome, beach is lovely, casino is nice fun for after dinner, I recommend it for the price. We got a great deal. Oh, try to get into Villa 6 or 10 (depending on which side you're on); the rooms there are much spiffier.

Villa 10 is Ocean Sand (6 is Blue). Don't know how they handle adjoining rooms, but as long as you're in the same building, same floor, that would work.

Sorry I haven't posted my report yet. I've been pretty busy since I got back (though I keep posting here for some reason!).

In the sports bar they have many TVs, but only seem to have two channels for sports. ESPN and Fox, and the Fox was in Spanish (which is really OK for baseball; we were there for the Series). Considering it's a "Sports Bar", one would think they'd find a way to have a satellite with many different sports. The sports bar has a pool table, which is nice, but it only opens in the evening (ditto all the a la cartes, though the coffee bar would be nice in the afternoons). I was hoping to see a college football game one afternoon, but no dice. Didn't bother me, I wasn't really sure I wanted to spend a couple of hours indoors on vacation, but I was surprised.
