$10 USD in the arrival hall per person is the fee.
what about departure tax?
If not included in your air fare, and all US and many Canadian airlines do, then it is $20 per person. So check with your carrier. This like your tourist card needs to be in US dollars.
ok great, i havent seen any notice on our vacation confirmation that we need to pay departure taxes, so im sure its covered. I know when we came to Punta Cana the last time in 2004, we were given the tourist card by the Tour Operator and we paid the taxes at the airport, so i guess its been changed.
As you are from Canada both your Tourist Card and Departure Tax are included in your vacation package, the only exception is if your flying with Sunwing/Signature Vacations as these are the only Canadian companies that does not include both taxes in their package.
