Need a Punta Cana expert help picking resort. Honeymoon

Me and my fiancé desperately need help picking a resort in Punta Cana. Do not want to have to use a travel agent!

We will be going on or honeymoon the first week of August. We are looking for an all inclusive adults only resort with plenty of options for bars and restaurants. We would like a nice somewhat private beach with white sand and hopefully pretty clear calm waters. I would prefer to be able to snorkel if possible. Swim up bars are a must. Cleanliness and up to date is a must. My biggest concern is nightlife. We are in our 20s and would prefer to have stuff to do at night like dancing/dj. We don’t want a resort that all closes down at an early time. We looked into BREATHLESS resort which looked nice but after reading reviews it sounds like it’s almost too much of a party/ loud all the time. Don’t want to be at a place that’s full of drunks and we can’t relax in a quiet place if we’d like. I know I sound picky but we probly only have one shot at this so I just want it to be perfectThanks in advance for the help!

Check out Chic, Excellence El Carmen, and Secrets Cap Cana.

Also note that Punta Cana isn’t really a snorkel destination...if you want to see much, your best bet is an excursion away from the PC resort area.

I really like the looks of CHIC a lot but what I worry about it being to small and being a stand alone resort. Just wondering if you would get bored there after awhile or is there plenty to do?

i was NEVER bored at Chic Punta Cana, its really entertaining and the drinks were great and i was surprised how good the food was for an all inclusive resort. if you get bored at that resort you have some serious issues lol.
