Sunscape Map and rooms

From former posts I was able to find Sunscape resort map but had numbers with no explanation of what the numbers mean. Can someone who has been or is going post a map with names of buildings? I find the map confusing. We are wondering what room to request that is on ground floor, near or on beach and near pool. We will snorkel a good deal. We probably won't be upgrading to preferred club if we can help it. And it's just two of us. Thanks so much. Danki.

I can tell you building 2 is the Royal Tower. Buildings 7 and 8 are Pelican and Flamingo. The other ones I do not remember (Heron, Seagull, Plover, Ibis - but I don't know their numbers).

Unfortunately the map that you receive when you arrive does not have the building names either, it s the same one as on http://www.sunscaperesorts.com/curacao/. If you send me a private message I have and email address you can send your question which someone at the resort will answer.

Would love to get a room ground floor ocean view close to pool and beach. If you have more info on how to do that I'd greatly appreciate it.

Plover is probably your best bet then if you are not going preferred. See the other thread for the discussion of the resort map and building names

It depends, if you stay in the Royal Tower, you will be close to the beach, pool and all restaurants except Oceana. It is also louder in this section of the resort, as all the entertainment takes place by the pool during the day and at night. All activities end by 11pm, if you partake in the nightly entertainment it wont bother you, but if you like to call it an early night it might be a bit difficult to fall asleep.

If you end up on the other end of the resort in the 2 horse show like buildings(Pelican & Flamigo), it is a lot quieter there and from what we experienced a little less windy. But the bad part is you have a decent walk to all the restaurants.

We were in 7122, and in my opinion it is the best room on the property.

Oceanfront, walk out onto the beach.

Right next to the bar, lunch grill and oceana.

Preferred pool very quiet and the beach here is sandier.

Walk the restaurants or casino is not bad
