Hello,
We just came back from Varadero we were at the dolphinnarium for the dolphins. It is close to hotel Blau in Varadero and the price was $ 75 person in a natural environment ( kiss with the dolphin was only $ 5) . The swimming can also in combination with a catamarantrip on the ocean.
Peter from the Netherlands
Here you go. Prices for most excursions from Varadero.

Cheers
can you still get a picture with the dolphin without actually going for the swimming excursion? Like can I pay just for the show, then pay extra for a picture with the dolphin....thanks and if you know the prices for this it would be great...also sorry to hijack your thread :p
Just a quick note. Have seen some items where people advise against this as say it is unkind. Went in April and they had babies it was wonderful. It was not to be missed.
I have always been told that no animal will breed when it is unhappy and since dolphin are very cleaver animals I think this is true.
Have a great time.

tainteddevil never asked if swimming with dolphins was right or wrong...So any advise about this should be on another post..He/She never asked for any moral judgements... They just want to swim with the dolphins..Oh ya JMHO..

Yes,
On the end of the show you can make a picture for $5.
In the interest of education, it bears mentioning that it's possible to be injured in these dolphin "swm with" programs. Doesn't happen often, but if it happens to you or your child, it could be quite unpleasant. Dolphins sometimes act aggressively toward humans in these swim programs due to stress. Reported injuries occurring while swimming with dolphins in captivity include a cracked sternum, broken ribs, broken arm and lacerations caused by shattered face masks on two occasions. Caveat emptor.
In combo with the catamaran ride you can stand on the platform and get close to the dolphins or sit in the stands but i think a pic with is xtra. Not sure as after cat ride we did not participate. Not making a moral statement, just was burnt out from the sun and booze on cat ride so we went back to resort.
