Doess anyone know if you can take Honey into Cuba from the U.K., or does anyone returning from the Solymar in Varadaro know if its provided there

Returning to the Solymar in June and can't wait

You may take honey with you do it all the time but I get it at duty free in Canada.

I don,t know if they have it in your hotel, but they have it in some stores in Cuba.

You can take it with you without problem, just put it in your checked luggage or, like the other porter said, buy it at the duty free if you don,t waht to have the extra weight. A good option is to bring those little individual containers of honey like they give in the restaurants, it's less heavy and won't break as easy.

Buy some Cuban honey - if you haven't tried it you MUST! I can't eat local honey anymore, it tastes like melted wax in comparison. It's very inexpensice - 2 or 3 CUC's for a jar and I've seen it at most gift shops.

I just returned from the Solymar less than a week ago. There was honey at the buffet at every breakfast, not sure about the other meals.

I buy Cuban honey all the time from Cuban duty free shop. I use it regularly - tastes great.
