Canadian To CUC

I noticed that the CND rate is dropping on the blanc cuba site. Maybe someone could let us know what kind of exchange they received lately for thier Canadian $$$.

You know, seems the rates are pretty stable. Where ever you go the rates will be really close. The banks a bit of a hassel, you have to carrey your pass-post. There might be a line up or they might be closed. Just my opinion, use the air-port-or -your-resort-at-least-if your in Varadareo,

We just returned yesterday (Nov. 17) from Sandals Hicacos Veradero. The exchange rate for Canadian to CUC went from 1.05 to 1.08 to 1.10 in one week. The hotel charges another 3% surcharge on top of this; definitely change your money over at the airport or one of the local banks while there - it's cheaper.

We exchanged our money at the Varadero airport. It was the best rate and you may as well leave the airport with local currency in hand. It took us a long time to get our luggage etc. so if this is typical perhaps one person can wait for bags and the other get in line to exchange money. I would change into shorts on the plane it was quite warm and very crowded.
