Voltage?

I read the sticky on TA but what is the up to date information.

Do i need an adaptor for my devices? I read something about havana uses 220v and our devices are 120v.

Will my stuff get fried? Staying at the parque if that makes a difference.

Thanks

Cuba uses 110, but many houses - and especially those rented to foreigners - now also have 220.

Being from Canada, you'll be fine. More hassle for us euro trash :-)

We're from the old world, you know, from when there wasn't showers and deodorant, all that fancy shmancy modern stuff.

But heavy voltage, that we care for.

The Parque Central is 220 voltage so you'll have to be careful with your Canadian electronics. Be sure all your chargers, etc. clearly state that they're dual voltage (100 - 240) otherwise you will indeed fry them in a spectacular display...

Cheers,

Terry

Hmmm I just read that the Parque has the "circle" outlets? Not the flat outlets we have here in North America?

I need an adapter?

Thanks
