Hurricane damage in Old Havana

Has anyone seen the Plaza Revolution, Cathedral Square and The Malecon area in the past couple of weeks? I've heard there was extensive storm damage caused by wind and flooding to the architecture of some of the old buildings and would like to know if this fact or fiction.

Fiction. Plaza Revolucion it is very very far from the areas where the floodings happened. Cathedral Square did not suffered at all. The Malecon did but it has been fully restored and it keeps being the nicest place to see the sunset.

I intend to visit Havana in February, primarily to photograph the architecture, and I thank you for your remarks. I've been to Cuba a couple of times in the last 8 years but I haven't been to Havana since pre-Castro (1958). I must confess in 1958 I arrived by ferry from Key West and architecture was not the primary thing on my mind. Surprising how wisdom improves with age.
