Cuban Cigars -how many are you allowed bring back to Canada?

We are going to Varadero from Vancouver for our Honeymoon in late September/early October. We were wondering how many cuban cigars you are allowed to bring back to Canada. Does anyone know?

Hi we just got back from Cuba last Saturday. My son purchased them on the resort the day before we left (so they were fresh), and he bought 25 Monticristo #4. Even though you are allowed 50 per person the security team that scans carry ons etc. questioned how many we had and how many were in our party. We found thet they were cheaper at the resort than the airport.
