Time for .......?

We have a snorkel sail booked with Woodwind in January which leaves us with just under 3 hours before our cruise ship sails. What would you recommend we do? Would we have time to take a taxi and see some of the Island such as Lac Bay, flamingoes, Rincon. Would also have a couple of hours before the Woodwind trip and quite fancy a lionfish burger at Cactus Blue or a gelato at Gios. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe go to Witte Pan. For the Flamingos you need more time and you are only allowed to watch them at great distance.

Three hours should be plenty of time to get a taxi at the Divi where the Woodwind docks and drive around the southern end of the island, by the salt pans where there will probably be some flamingos. Continue around to Lac Bay and stop to see the windsurfers and get a drink/snack at the restaurant. From there it is only about 15 or 20 minutes back to the dock area. I would recommend this route rather than going up to and around Rincon. If you do start running short on time it is easier to cut things short and head back to the ship. I would recommend getting your own dedicated taxi rather than using some of the tours and group vans, since you will be on a slightly tight schedule. If you take this tour in late January, you may see me windsurfing on Lac Bay.

If you fancy a lion fish burger, do stop at the Cactus Blue food truck on Kite Beach. Hagen makes the best lion fish burgers! Yum! Just try to get there early, as he does run out on occasion if it's a busy day.
