Where's the best area to stay

any recommendations on where to stay and not have to spend an arm and a leg. Looking for beach front. Preferably walking distance to restaurants, bars ect.

well I would suggest south coast as it tends to be cheaper and there is much more self catering accommodation to if you want that...I suggest you take a look at the hotels reviews and then come back and ask some more pertinent questions about individual properties - there are well over 100 hotels on the island so really you need to do a little research.

Consider Mango Bay or the Sandpiper in the Holetown area of West Coast, both are beachside, close to good restaurants ( like Tides) bars, shops etc. And on very cheap bus route to Bridgetown, The Gap and beyond.

If you are after a lot of night life then the south coast would suit you better and there is lots of choice re hotels with very good beaches.
