Glad to see this excellent hotel is back on the list of best hotels in Barbados
-"In Barbados if you want to trade houses in the winter sometime...."
If you are near skiing then YES! I'm right on the ocean on the south coast.
Well I am a past Casuarina fan and the Coral Mist does seem to be the next best thing (apart from the lack of Bonnie and the beautiful grounds of course!). Since Casuarina closed I ahve only been to Coral Mist and Southern Surf, I just prefer Coral Mist for the location on the beach, but I did really enjoy Accra Beach at the Sugar Reef end (nice & quiet).....will probably take a stroll down there and snorkel out to the barrier, love to see Mr Turtle out there with no-one else around!
I'd love to do a house swap with you, but I am a flight away from skiing!!! If you ever feel like a trip to London outskirts let me know and I will be there to house-sit for you like a shot!!!
One day I will live out there......I might be old & grey, but one day!
We use to stay at the Casuarina ie the past 15 years when are you going to the Coral Mist we go in 8 weeks time we went there last year and loved the place we have booked for 2008 as well.
I believe you are there the same time as me, so I will check you ut if you are hiding under the tree on the beach!!! From Dan (Tanner's) pictures it looks like the beach has shrunk considerably even since I was last there in Sept 06, you might be a bit squished up under the tree at high tide!
I think if the beach is a bit narrow I might take a stroll down to Accra beach a few days.
See you there!
Some days the beach was pretty small. The water was actually coming right up to the wall so you were limited as to where you could put your chair. The first week of March the ocean was really rough compared to Feb. Will updated on my stay shortly as we just got home today. Gary never got his message but I told him what you had done and he said to say thank you.
