where to visit from The Club Barbados ?

just booked a week at the Club Barbados in february and am interested in beaches and snorkelling opportunities.

I have read on tripadvisor that the Club doesn't have much beach but that there is snorkelling.can anyone tellme about it and should I take my watershoes?

Can anyone also advise about walking/getting to Sandy Lane beach and Holetown, please?

Is it worth going to Folkestone marine park for snorkelling and how would I get there from the Club?

Finally, are there any other really good snorkelling experiences..I 've already done some swimming with turtles but I don't mind a boat trip to do it again!

I would suggest watershoes for the Club Barbados.

Holetown is a short walk north, Sandy Lane a short walk south from your hotel.

It is worth it to go to Folkestone. It's one of our top snorkelling sites. You can take any bus travelling north from the hotel and alight at the bus stop just after St. James Parish Church.

Carlisle Bay on Bay Street is excellent for snorkelling.

Hope this helps
