Taxi Fare question...

I've only just arrived home - for our neighbour to announce that they are travelling out next month.

We always stay in Barbados for two weeks - and hire a car. Pick-up at the airport.

Our neighbours are doing a cruise. And have one 'Free' day in Barbados. Approx how much would it cost to hire a 'Z' car + driver for a tour of the island. Starting off at Cruise terminal - up H1 - North Point - Bathsheba - South Coast. 10AM to about 4PM.

Any idea? Thanks in advance...

It's best if they contact car hire companies directly. However a one day rental can be expensive and it might be better to use a taxi, they drive while you relax and enjoy. The following link has the names of several recommended taxis that could be used. tripadvisor.ca/ShowTopic-g147262-i230-k50440…

Thanks for that. They certainly do not want to hire a car. They have priced up Island Safari but would like more freedom.

I saw that many 'Z' cars at Bathsheba doing what they'd like to do.

I've seen similar tours conducted for $170-$200 BBD depending on number of stops and the overall length.
