My Father did the trip from Southampton to cruise the Caribbean with the stop in Barbados on the Thomson Dream.

He is difficult to please at the best of times, and said he really enjoyed the whole experience.

It's probably worth you taking a look at the Cruise Critic website as they will probably hold a lot of reviews.

Hmmm, not sure I would choose it after the Watchdog programme last week - not unless you like flooded bathrooms and overflowing toilet in yout cabin!

Went on the Thomson Dream for 2 weeks having read excellent reviews...However we did not know until we arrived that the entertainment team and bands were changed on the 2nd december.

The cabins and food were the best we have ever experienced on any other thomson ship and we have been on them all over the past 10 years.

The entertainment was by a long long way the worst we have ever experienced on any

ship we have travelled on in the past 10 years.

The band in the main lounge were dreadful the group were out of tune and the singer cannot sing, she wouldnt even make a joke entry on the x factor so much so that the main lounge was half empty by the end of the cruise (French Melt)

the game shows were poor unimaginative and the presenters lacked charisma just going through the motions.

They had a 2 piece steel band who were great for 30 minutes however 2 weeks of the same songs night after night started to grate on you.

They had a terrific trio playing in the ocean bar however they were that good that the whole ship wanted to sit and listen so no chance there then, as seating limited.

The staff in the main Broadway show theatre put in 100% effort though the content was poor.

The two guest comedians were the worst ever, week one atrocious ...week 2 just about acceptable..but knowhere near Thomsons normal standard as highlighted by the fact that when they did there one off 1 night show the theatre was half empty ...unheard of on a Thomson ship on past experiences.

The only show worth watching was the crew show they knocked spots off the professionals on board

To sum up I have never met so many passengers of the same opinion as myself and complaints were flying everywhere to the point that the Cruise Director Stephen Guy was very conspicuous by his absence.

Day time activities were very limited and we had no guest speaker on the cruise

So if you like relaxing in a nice cabin with good food and do not wish to be entertained then this is the ship for you....Boring !!!! and never again.

To top the lot we were dumped at the airport and left to fend for ourselves for a flight 4 hours late back to Manchester.

we were on that cruise and agree with you totally but you should of been going out from birmingham two and a half days delay to ship, we booked two cabins payed single supplement of £700 each and only got one bedroom cabins, also booked premier seats £300 each and didnt get the service we should have so over all despicable best was the crews show, been at thomsons shop for three hours today complaining ang claiming.
