Airport Taxi Question

I plan to take a cab from the airport to my hotel. Do cab drivers take American money at the airport and around the island?

YUP...Both US and Bermudian currencies--bills & coins--are completely interchangeable for all transactions--hotels, restaurants, pubs, shops, attractions, excursions, taxis, public transportation, etc. The Bermudian Dollar is '..pegged..' in value to the US Dollar...so no foreign currency exchage necessary in Bermuda....though if you try to spend Bermudian money at your local supermarket at home, the cashier is likely to call security.

All US & Canadian elecrical/electronic devices will work as usual...no convertors or adaptors necessary.

It's perfectly safe to drink ordiniary tap water...though restaurants would prefer it if you you didn't believe this and ordered expensive, imported, bottled water.

Restaurant menus are available in English...Bermudians even speak English...though they speak it as the Queen intended.
