Airport taxi--how big?

I always travel with lots of luggage (yes, I know, this year I will have to pay). Are there big taxis at the airport or would it be better to have the hotel pick us up (for a lot more money)?

Thanks---

I was there last year. Our taxi was a nice, big mini van. Enjoy Bermuda. It's a great island!

There are no hotel shuttles in Bermuda, by law. You can either get a large 6 seater van at the regular taxi stand when you come out, or if you want to pre-arrange through Bermuda Hosts or one of the other bus companies you can do that. But you would be on a large bus with other passengers and would have to make a few stops along the way to your hotel, to drop off other passengers.

How many bags/people are we talking about here?

We always have plenty of luggage too, as usually stay 14 nights each trip. Not to worry - Just make sure you get a "van" style cab from the airport, as smaller car-style cabs just are not adequate.
