Cruise Ship Schedule - Where to Find What Days They Are In...

Anyone know how you can find out where the cruise ships are each day? I keep hearing how we should avoid the crowds by staying away from ports when the ships are there.

I think you will find that to be very difficult since any day of the week during this time of year can have the ships in all three ports.

Don't worry about it - it does not make that much of a difference. Just go and enjoy ourself - you won't even notice the ships.

Try this web site:

You should be able to put in the name of the specific port or just "Bermuda" with the dates you're looking at and it should tell you exactly which ship is where.

For some reason the 2005 Cruise Ship Schedule isn't available at the moment...but you can use the 2004 schedule to give you an idea of the cruise ship arrivals and departures during the week at--

We told they arrive in Hamilton on Monday and Tuesday and leave Wed. and Thursday. We saw one ship leave the dockyard on Thursday and St. George on Friday. No ships are in on the Weekend.

But, as others said, it doesn't make a big difference at all.

As the other member noted they usually arrive in port on Sunday night late and stay until Tuesday night late and it is rare that more than 2-3 are in port at any one time. Even though the ships are big they do not change the island much except make some of the beaches a little more crowded. Horseshoe Bay is usually very busy when the ships are in so go to Elbow or John Smith's instead. Since tourists cannot rent cars the traffic does not change much when the ships arrive.

Restaurants get a little busier especially on Front Street so you may want to get a reservation.
