Prices of trips from GPB please

Hi - we fly out in 2 weeks and are trying to work out how much cash to take.

We're interested in a couple of trips to see the island and would love to hear from others the best trips to take and the approximate cost?

we booked with St James travel as we travelled with BA who use them as their agent. They were cheaper than the desk at the hotel but believe many use Marvin on the beach

We did the extreme circumnavigation which most certainly had the wow factor and also revisited Barbuda which is idyllic.

Also hired a car for two days which was a superb way to see the is;land at your leisure. Easy driving.

Have already forgotten the cost!

Hi Swivelling Monk,

As a regular visitor to Antigua I thought i could help by listing some of the trips I've done and the cost i paid at the time.

I last went in 2012 so prices may have gone up or down but it gives you an estimate.

Catamaran Day Tour to the Island of Barbuda $150.00

(including lunch, beverages, and taxi fare)

Catamaran Island Tour – Circumnavigation of Antigua $110.00

(Includes snorkelling, swimming and lunch)

Helicopter journey to see the Island of Montserrat. $240.00

(45 mins. Minimum of 3 persons)

Horse-back riding $60.00

Swim with the Stingrays $50.00

Taxi Tours of the English Harbour, Nelson’s Dockyard, Shirley Heights and around the valley rainforest $130.00
