Here are a few things you might decide to do, all or most will be bookable through the tour desk at GPB, some have websites for you to look at before you travel.

Carribean Helicopters flies out of Jolly Harbour and does a full island, a half island and a Montserrat tour I think.

I would recommend Antigua Adventures Xtreme tour, I have done both the Eco and the Xtreme, both good but I prefered the Xtreme, details are on the Antigua Adventure website.

I also enjoy taking friends on one of the sailing cat circumnavigation tours, either Wadadli Cats or Island Adventure are good.

A trip by fast power cat to Barbuda is good fun, the Excellence is a great boat, you get to see the perfect pink Barbuda beaches as well as the Frigate Bird sanctuary which is interesting.

If you have time a day trip to Monserrat is brilliant, on Tuesdays and Fridays the volcano observatory does a guided tour and you can check out the equipment they use to observe the volcano.

Jeep safari round Antigua is good, a kyak trip through the mangroves is fun or get a taxi driver to take you on an island tour to see all the best places, come down to English Harbour and check out the mega yachts!

Of course its also good to relax, have a rum punch and read a good book

Hope this helps to start you thinking

Best wishes - Mun

For a week's stay I'd suggest, at most, to take a Catamaran circumnavigation of the island (full day) and the half day (morning) shopping tour of St. John's. Just visit, ASAP, the tour office at the PBR to check the schedules after you arrive. The balance of your time should be spent in relaxing on the beach, even though the weather forecast might not be that promising for a few days of your vacation. This remains to be seen and experienced.

Next Monday, John & Marianne will be returning for their (I think) 19th stay at the resort. Originally from Maryland, they now reside in Florida. They're old (like me 50's-60's) but still worth spending the time to socialize with and heeding advice from. Ask, if you'd care to, Vera (bar tender) at the Piano Bar, to introduce you.

I hope you'll have an enjoyable and stress-free vacation.

Yes, the Pineapple does do their excursions. Have a look at their excursions web page:

They've only just done a complete update of that page and the list is quite comprehensive.
