North Coast lunch

Hi guys

We're going to be spending a morning in St. John this time around, and then going out around the north coast area, hopefully visiting Long Bay and whatever else looks interesting. We may go out a couple of days... last year it was the west coast and we loved Dennis' and a late lunch at the Salty Dog in English Harbor, which I guess is gone now.

What's good for a "sitting by the sand" sort of lunch stop along the north coast? Staying at Sandals, we don't get out a lot, but we always try to spend some money locally and get out and about. We've got a car, so we can go wherever anyone points us.

If you are at Long Bay try the Italian restaurant to the right when you are at the beach. It's called La Tartaruga. Excellent Italian fayre. You can hire a couple of beds and an umbrella and just chill at the waters edge. A lovely spot.
