One stay for single lady

I am flying to the UK in September as Liat is having major issues getting anywhere on time, I have decided it is best to fly into Antigua the day before any suggestions on a nice hotel to stay?

As you'll have a full day before getting an evening flight to the UK, you might want to try somewhere in the Dickenson Bay area, which is still not far from the airport. Many places require a minimum 3 night stay, but Tradewinds or Siboney might be an option.

Antigua is quite small so nowhere is much more than 45 mins from airport and most considerably less. MizGeorge is right that 1night is the possible difficulty although in Sept everywhere is so quiet you can always ask. Sugar Ridge Hotel does regularly have short term guests. About 30mins by taxi from airport. It is smart, with nice gym and spa, swimming pool and depending on which night there might be some modest entertainment . It's apparent drawback is that it is set 1/2 mile back from the sea but hotel overcome this by offering a shuttle that will take you to any one of. 4 beaches ( all just 3-5 minutes away) or there is a nice pool at main hotel level and fantastic plunge pool higher up hill in front of the Carmichael,s restaurant. Would be very suitable for stay for single lady.
