Depends on what day you will be there. At Sandy ground beach there are plenty beach bars and restaurants. Also you can go over to sandy Island for lunch from there. Make sure go and do the rum tasting at the factory in Sandy Ground. Pum House and Jonnoss are great local beach bars with love music. Shoal Bay (East) has more activity, more beach bars and restaurants, great swimming and some water sports. Uncle Ernies nice food and music. Scilly Cay another island bar with live music at times. If you are overnighting and want a chic club to go to, try RumZa night club and their terrace bar restaurant.

When you say it depends on the day, are some days better than others? Are there certain activities, sights or events that only take place on, say, a Wednesday? We will be in SXM second week in March but haven't decided which day to visit Anguilla. We won't be staying overnight but can stay well into the night. Do you know when the last ferry leaves? Does that depend on the day?

Last Ferry is usually around 7pm.

Late ferry might be running approx around 10pm.

Go to shoal Bay East and have lobster at Gwen's reggae grill.

When you are in the east end, you could check out the Anguilla Heritage Museum. Great exhibits in small house about Anguilla from Indians to slavery to 1967 Revolution and salt industry.
