Hiking along along the Oregon coast

My husband and I are taking a road trip later this month, staying in Astoria, Pacific City, Beverly Beach State Park, and Bullards Beach State Park - 2 nights in each location. We are looking for recommendations for trails to hike along the way. Pretty places - beach, forest, good photography, anything up to 8 miles is good. We're pretty fit and hike often, so any type of trail is fine. I'm hoping to walk some shorter and longer trails along the way, mix it up a bit.

The one coastal hike I do at every opportunity, regardless of season, is Cascade Head, where the payoff is what IMO is one of the best views on the Oregon coast. If you do a little googling you'll find a couple routes, but they end up at the same view. https:/…24.jpg

Hi november_moon

If you have not been to Silver Falls it might be worth the detour.

Also here is a list of trails in the Siuslaw Nat. Forest

Lots of hikes in the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area

When we are up that way we usually stick to the beaches.

There is a nice trail along the beach in Yachats

Have Fun
