Death Valley Hike

I'm heading to Death Valley at the end of April and was hoping to find a great moderately strenous full day hike. Does anyone have suggestions?

You could easily spend a day exploring the lower reaches of Titus Canyon, and Fall Canyon is just a bit further north. There's a good description of Fall Canyon in the Death Valley section of americansouthwest.net.

If you want to get some great views down into Death Valley, there's the 8-mile round trip to Wildrose Peak. The trail starts right at the Charcoal Kilns, which is a pretty interesting destination in itself.

Bring gallons of water. We had 110 F april/may some years ago. It's not the best spot on earth to hike.
